A personal thank you post from me (Scott Whitney). It's been a tough 14 and a half weeks in Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) and I took a huge step back from doing things.

You may enjoy fireworks and bonfire night, the colours, the shared connection between community and family, the treats, the history or the new ways the event is now marked with laser lights and music choreography. The history of scarecrows goes back centuries, and birds outsmart humans to reach crops; however, scarecrows will remain part of our lives, I believe. They feature in many areas; there are trails and festivals dedicated to the humble scarecrow. This week in art, we are looking at drawing our own. This week's art is based on mental health, as it's the last Wednesday of the month. The topic is 'Your self-belief'. Which is challenging for so many as there are a great many of forces that interrupt how we feel about ourselves and undermine us as human beings.
