There are many connections between people, animals, nature, and each other. For those who seek comfort in pets, that bond can be deeply supportive. Being outdoors and connected with nature also offers well-documented health benefits. As social beings, connection helps us feel happier, more secure, and gives a sense of purpose and belonging. Sharing feelings and experiences provides emotional support and strengthens well-being.

Connections often find us at our lowest points and in unexpected moments, and are timely reminders of how important we are. For those facing health challenges or difficult circumstances, online sessions can be invaluable, helping people connect, share experiences, and reduce loneliness. Without such connections, people risk isolation, poor mental and physical health, and withdrawal from society.

The power of connecting with others through enjoying activities

Visually, art is a powerful way to connect with an audience. Your brain can understand images 60,000 times faster than text, images can inspire and evoke many emotions, not only releasing those of the artist but also allowing the person viewing the artwork to connect with the piece to think and feel about their own in a different way.

Room with two paintings grayscale paintings on left wall of a woman one forward facing and one side facing. Same wall is a silver full size sculpture, knees bending and turning to left. On the back wall, there is an enormous bronze colour half torso of a man coming from the floor chest, including head, tilted downwards.
