A personal thank you post from me (Scott Whitney).
It's been a tough 14 and a half weeks in Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) and I took a huge step back from doing things.
I will probably share more about my time in the National Inpatient Centre for Physcological Medicine (NICPM) at some point. But that won't be today.
Whilst I was in hospital All 4 Inclusion put on close to 150 groups and the only groups that were postponed were due to volunteers travelling for the Awards.
I'm forever grateful to everyone who stepped up and done either a little extra or a lot extra. On behalf of our members THANKYOU !
Also, thank you to everyone who gave me extra space to unwind and relax whilst on the NICPM.
I probably underestimated how tired I would be there, and still am now. I'm going to balance being on meetings with rest time whilst also looking to find ways to give our volunteers much needed time away as well. When volunteers have a week or two off I would really appreciate you giving them the same space as you gave me. Thanks for everything and keep being you !!
Scott
