After a warm summer this year, we have had a storm and wet, windy days... The artwork this week reminds us of the return to summer once more with butterflies and flowers. Have a look and enjoy summer again.

The history of scarecrows goes back centuries, and birds outsmart humans to reach crops; however, scarecrows will remain part of our lives, I believe. They feature in many areas; there are trails and festivals dedicated to the humble scarecrow. This week in art, we are looking at drawing our own. An incredible insight into 'Your Self-Belief' through the eyes of our artists who attended the art group last week and produced some amazing pieces of art based on their own concepts of their self-belief. Sarah Morris, who leads the Art Group for All 4 Inclusion, chose April's member of the month - Barbara Hulme. An active member of our online community and attends many of our meetings also. Awesome artist!

The fascination leads many of us to visit the shore of our landlocked island, or read or watch mysteries, or have a thirst for the creatures that live in the deep. Do mermaids exist? Was there a lost city of Atlantis? So many questions. Beachcombing and rock pooling are also great pastimes when visiting the coast. A fascination for collecting and recycling/upcycling, or treasure seeking, is a must. So much inspiration for art this evening!

Many different types of art were produced during our Easter themed Art week, including, butter sculpting and Easter bonnets, as well as some awesome animals. Lots of imagination and sharing the importance of having friends/groups online during holidays, to combat loneliness.
