Poetry uses carefully chosen words, rhythm, and imagery to express feelings and ideas, while nursery rhymes introduce children to sound, pattern, and imagination.

Poetry and art have long inspired each other, from classic poems to beautiful paintings, showing how words and images combine to tell powerful stories.
