It's our last art session of this year, so it's time to take a look at the year that's just been and also to think about the year ahead. The New Year is a powerful moment of transition. In Roman tradition, Janus, the two-faced Gateway God, looked both backwards and forward, symbolising beginnings, endings and transformation. From his name comes January, a time once welcomed with intention, as the first day was believed to shape the year ahead.

When we pause to reflect, patterns emerge. We recognise resilience in difficult moments, lessons learned through setbacks, and quiet successes often overlooked. This awareness brings clarity, helping us decide what to carry forward and what to release.

Moving forward is most meaningful when grounded in reflection. The past offers guidance, not limits. By setting intentions informed by experience, we step ahead with confidence and purpose. Looking back gives meaning to the journey; moving forward turns that meaning into action. Only you can decide this.
Art inspiration;
🎨 Starting a New Year, create some art to celebrate and welcome in 2026 with lots of colour and excitement as you feel it …
🎨 Reflecting on moments gone by requiring courage this year, identify supportive memories, and create an artwork expressing strength, resilience and moving forward.
🎨 Do you have any plans for this year, a part of your journey? They could be something small or a dream, create your artwork with you at the centre. Make it happen!
🎨 Create your own Tree of Life, powerfully symbolising rebirth, renewal, and transformation, maybe add leaves with words of gratitude or positive affirmations?
🎨 Take life one day at a time; that is progress. Create a drawing of something meaningful to you, an interest or connection that brings purpose and calm.
🎨 Look back at your artwork from this year. Choose a piece to finish or change. Transform it with a fresh perspective, look back to move forward and see it through different eyes.
The last art of 2025, there will be more in 2026! It will be a great evening of creativity! See you all soon if you are free 🙂 Wednesday evening, 6:00-800 UK time. Please join us on link-tree select All4Art https://linktr.ee/all4inclusion
