Racing through this month, we've almost reached the end of September; this, being the last week of the month, is our mental health evening. We'll be connecting with our inner selves, both light and dark sides, and quietly seeing which animals or plants we resonate with. An interesting week to calm and create, join if you're free.

The history of scarecrows goes back centuries, and birds outsmart humans to reach crops; however, scarecrows will remain part of our lives, I believe. They feature in many areas; there are trails and festivals dedicated to the humble scarecrow. This week in art, we are looking at drawing our own. Which is challenging for so many as there are a great many of forces that interrupt how we feel about ourselves and undermine us as human beings. Summer vibes with this art session. All our senses are enlivened by the produce of the season, the fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The time spent outdoors, the deliciousness of the taste and smell, the vibrancy of the colours, and the care that's gone into growing these juicy, sweet foods that are enjoyed by us all. This week, we are exploring the topic of positivity and the benefits associated with mental health. Together with the power of affirmations and setting intentions. Awesome evening awaits, as we are setting up celebrations for All4Art's 2nd Birthday. This year is special as there's a collaborative project for all our creatives, to be combined in once place to be made into a mural. This will be an extended project, so people can take their time with it to produce some great pieces. Looking forward to putting this together as we have some fab members who contribute so much to our community and keep the art group strong xx Very exciting!

This week we are looking into 'Buildings', they could be new, old, ruins, imaginary, a treehouse, somewhere you'd live with your friends and family or a technical drawing. Maybe something sustainable that you'd find in a different country.
