An incredible week of art to finish the month of May, as always, this was our mental health week. The topic was uplifting, and people had already put a lot of effort and planning into their ideas around what they'd decided to do in this session.
A few of the group, including myself, went back to artwork already started, which for me, is a way of improving my mental health and giving me positivity as I'm a step closer to completing another piece, exciting times, but some pieces are still not finished.

Our creatives gave a short write-up about their art and positive thoughts artworks;
Phil says - My goal is to keep being myself and being colourful and positive and making people feel better about themselves. He used a photo collage to make his artwork.
Mango as my fire safety officer. Thank you to Noor for the suggestion of a floral background xx Barbara drew her outline and then painted this with watercolour paints to achieve her finished piece.
Donna drew her artwork and then coloured it in with felt-tip pens.
Positive thoughts are personal to each of us, so I appreciate our members sharing theirs. Each style is so unique, there are no favourites this week, they're all fabulous!
Thank you to each person who is a part of our art group.
At the end of our meeting, we spent some time discussing topics we can work on for the upcoming sessions. It is then my job to go away and put together the list for the month and produce the write-ups that everyone sees.
I hope you enjoy the topics 🫶🏻
