Several of our fantastic creatives produced many different compositions, using watercolour, felt-tip pens, acrylic paints, and colouring pencils.
The evening was very chilled, people felt able to reveal their inner calm spaces they go to when the outside world gets a little too much, or where they would like to go, or where their thoughts slip to. Each picture has great significance to its artist. One drew a self-portrait as they felt their happy space was in their mind, which projected outwardly in their colourful clothing and wearing a smile. Others found sanctuary in their homes and bedrooms in very different ways. Some found tranquillity in nature, in completely different settings.

I'm very proud and incredibly privileged to be able to spend my time with the members of the art group and to be able to share with you all of our fantastic artwork. Thank you, everyone xx
Perhaps you're inspired to pick up a pad and a pencil and sketch your calm space the next time life gets a little chaotic, think about it... Remember, you're more than welcome to come and join us.
Check in with you soon, Sarah (:
