What lifts your spirits or brings you joy?

We all have different things that help lift our spirits. It could be a favourite place that brings you peace, a special person, the beauty of nature, listening to music, spending time with animals, colourful memories, a favourite hobby, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a warm drink.

This week's theme invites you to create artwork inspired by the things that help you feel happier, calmer or more hopeful. Whether your inspiration comes from a treasured memory, somewhere you love to visit, or something that simply makes you smile, we'd love to see what lifts your spirits.

Every artwork will be unique, reflecting the many different things that help lift our spirits.

One artist who beautifully captured this idea is Claude Monet, an Impressionist painter known for his peaceful gardens, water lilies, bridges and landscapes filled with light and colour. His artwork encourages us to slow down, notice nature and appreciate the beauty found in everyday moments.
