Something Fishy...

This week, we're diving into the fascinating world of fish!

From colourful tropical reefs and peaceful garden ponds to rivers, lakes and the deepest oceans, fish live in an incredible variety of habitats. They come in countless shapes, sizes and colours, swimming alone, in pairs or in mesmerising schools that move together as one.

Fish have inspired people for thousands of years. They appear in ancient mythology, the zodiac sign Pisces, and even symbolise perseverance and transformation through the beautiful Japanese koi carp. Amazingly, humans also share an ancient evolutionary connection with fish.

Artists have long been captivated by their graceful movements, vibrant colours and tranquil underwater world.
