The Latifa Sanneh Award is our Hall of Fame and is the highest recognition we present.
We will induct people in to the Latifa Sanneh Hall of Fame each year.
Each person will be assigned a number representing the order they were inducted.
Who is Latifa Sanneh?
Member Njaay first came to a session. Her camera was off as she was in hospital with Latifa. Unsure whether one or both would leave the hospital.
Latifa showed her strength, resilience and determination and they went home.
Home was a house, inaccessible with damp leaving only the ground floor liveable.
Latifa was non verbal, epileptic and paraplegic but her personality shone through with her eyes and her smile.
She was sassy.
In all her life, a total of 269 weeks, Latifa had her own bedroom for just the final 6 weeks of her life.
She died peacefully in her sleep.
