Melanie Costas

On being confirmed as a finalist Melanie said........
"Being named a Mental Health Champion finalist for the 2nd year running feels absolutely amazing! It's like giving my neurodivergent brain's constant chatter a standing ovation! For years, I've been loudly (and yes, very pinkly) banging the drum for genuine, proactive mental & physical health inclusion. This recognition isn't just my own personal win, it's a win for everyone who's ever felt too messy, too loud, or 'too much'. This one's for all of us perfectly imperfect misfits!"
Melanie, on what she does.......
"I'm Melanie Costas, aka The Inclusifyer... a pink-haired, filter-free, award-winning speaker and consultant on a mission to positively transform workplaces and eliminate wellbeing whitewashing. With 30+ years navigating multiple non-visible disabilities, neurodivergence, chronic pain, mental illness, and surviving breast cancer, I help HR, leaders, and organisations go from tick-box tokenism to authentic inclusivity champs. I deliver unique lived experience-led strategies and solutions so that people like us are genuinely thriving, instead of barely surviving. No corporate BS, or artificial intelligence, just practical insights that actually work for real humans, because as I always say, the most important A.I of all is accessibility and inclusion."
Sean Liddell

On being confirmed as a finalist Sean said.........
"Being named a finalist for the All4Inclusion Awards is incredibly humbling and genuinely personal for me. It's not just about recognition; it's a powerful validation of the work we do to champion mental health, neurodiversity and disability inclusion. These awards celebrate the lived experience that drives true change, and to be considered among such inspiring individuals who are breaking down barriers, truly speaks to the heart of why I do what I do"
Sean on what he does.......
"After not being diagnosed with ADHD for 58 years, having a successful corporate career, becoming an associate director in the corporate banking industry and then experiencing the loss of everything in his life in 2008, divorce, career, technically homeless, depression, he bounced back after two years enduring the most painful existence that he had ever experienced to starting his own training consultancy, Mindful Training Ltd, becoming certified in Mental Health First Aid, Suicide First Aid, Neurodiversity in the workplace and Mindfulness. From there he has also co-founded Pwrpas, a charity based in Wrexham and has helped bring awareness in mental health, neurodiversity and inclusion to several thousand people, every year from the local community, to nationwide, the armed forces, corporates such as JCB. This has expanded in the last decade to an international custom base helping literal rocket scientists in Germany to bounce back from burnout, also to mentor young leaders across the commonwealth globally. Volunteering has always been core and delivering training, talks, mentoring new businesses and young people is a constant for Sean alongside his commercial work."

Sean Liddel has to be one of the most kind, caring, honest and accomplished men that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, both a professional level and on a personal one too. Having also known about Seans own personal challenges throughout his life, it never stopped Sean from helping others. In fact, it made him more determined to make a difference and gave him the strength that he needed to succeed. Sean is very passionate about people and making a difference, and no one, deserves this award more. Sean is a real grass roots man, and how he gets his messages across to others, I can honestly say that I have never seen this achieved by anyone else…
