Things to do in Munich

Recently, in our travel WhatsApp chat, we were discussing attractions and places to go themed arround cars. One personal free attraction in this space I would reccomend following a visit in 2013, to visitors is the BMW World in the German city of Munich. This is a modern free attraction and is very accessible.

Across the road from the museum is the Olympic Park. Although currently closed the Olympic Tower offers a beautiful panoramic view across the city.

The city is also home to many parks and gardens. A large park worth visiting is the English Garden. This inner city park stretches for 375 hectares from the city centre northwards.

The city is easy to get to from the UK with regular flights from British Airways, Lufthansa and EasyJet to Munich Airport which is located a 40 minute train journey into the main city centre attractions at Marionplatz and the S Bahn is very easy and accessible to use. The city also has good links to regional and long distance services across Germany and into neighbouring countries.
