Porto is a popular city in Portugal and is easily connected to the UK, with flights to its airport from several UK airports including Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh
I have included a virtual tour and caught up with an All4Inclusion member who visited this city.

When did you visit Porto?
I visited Porto about 5 years ago, we spent the 2 days off our cruise ship there.
How accessible did you find Porto- It is quite a hilly city so have you any tips for enjoying this?
Porto is very steep so you need someone strong on your wheelchair or very good brakes. I found it to be quite accessible although steep.
What was the food like?
We ate at 3 beautiful restaurants, 1 Terra Nova - the food was incredible and tasty. Easy to access in a wheelchair. 2 Nasoni, really beautiful and around €100 for a family of 4.
3 Hard Rock Cafe, was the same as our normal ones but really had that Porto vibe to it.
Have you any experience of the day tours such as the Duro Valley?
We had a boat tour of Douro valley but as a none drinker this was still worth the visit even for the food.
We done some beautiful tile painting with mocktails for me, but it was something that we could all do, even my parents enjoyed this activity.

Any other Information?
The best part was fridge magnet shopping for me, I collect them from every place I've travelled and I have a fridge that has some spaces.
The shops were vibrant and appealing. They even if they had a step the workers where very helpful to make you feel included. There was no pressure shopping.
We wanted to go on the tram but unfortunately it was extremely busy and it wasn't something I was prepared to do while there.
Porto is a fabulous place to go. It definitely should be on your bucket list
