Today was a huge day for me. I've left the insurance industry behind me today. I've worked almost 25 years in the industry and it's been fantastic.

I have had the opportunity to do many different roles for some large companies, before finishing up with a great independent business.

In the last couple of years the independent business was acquired by another corporate business. At the time I did not know that the acquisition would lead me to meeting some great people. This business is Acrisure, the headline sponsor of this years awards.

The relationship I've built with Acrisure and others means I won't be too far away from the insurance industry.

This evening I had a quick chat with one of our speakers for the awards,

Zoe-Jane Littlewood.

We discussed her upcoming talk which following our chat I am even more excited about.

I don't want to give away what Zoe-Jane will be talking about but I think along with Tanya and Alex they will be making it a night to remember.

So what is life post insurance industry going to be like for me. I will have more time to focus on All 4 Inclusion and some of the exciting things we have coming up soon. I will be marketing and having conversations with people regarding Sign My Vid and looking to see this grow.

Finally, I will be starting my own consultancy. I will start talking about that after the awards are over though.

Now it's time to join in our fabulous Art Group run by Sarah Morris. This weeks topic is masking. Sarah ensures there is a Mental Health topic each month. It's normally the last Wednesday of the month, but we have moved it forward to allow Halloween to be the theme next week.
