Accessible house design feedback

Hi everyone, I’m at the final stages of tweaking the design for our next development project where we are renovating an existing bungalow. I’ve been working with my architect on the designs but wanted to run it past a focus group to see if we’ve missed anything or if anything needs changing. Let me know if you’d like to be involved.

I suppose the question I am asking is would a wheelchair user be comfortable in a bedroom that was not ensuite?

I am not a wheelchair user but when my wife and I rented a cottage for her birthday earlier this year we had a choice of a 9 bedroom cottage where all the bedrooms were ensuite and another cottage with 1 bedroom ensuite and 2 communal bathrooms for everyone else to share. We went for the cottage with 9 ensuite bedrooms

There were bedrooms on the ground floor and first floor

None of the people who stayed were wheelchair users but we still went for ensuite bedrooms
