As a power wheelchair user of 22 years ; am I the only person who regularly meets physical obstacles in the form of shops in some towns, not having fully accessible premises?
I do live in a medieval town, but many shops could easily overcome this issue of not having access by investing a few quid in a small portable ramp. I’m referring to those businesses with a small step, like so many seem to have where I live .
I struggle with the exact same issue & I live in a big city (Bristol). I spend most of my time on the road where about I live as there’s no dropped curbs for the pavements. Then you end up with vehicle drivers hammering their horn or swearing at you either verbally or visually.

Me liking this is more of me agreeing
So many places could assist with a small ramp
I look at restaurants and think how many meals would it take to pay back the cost of the ramp.
The answer is not many
