A man who stopped me from ending my life 41 years ago, Mike Peters, died earlier this week from a very aggressive form of cancer and subsequent unsuccessful therapy. I feel so utterly grief stricken, I have not felt this empty and bereft since my late mother died. Now I have outlived Mike, my mother, my surrogate mother, my husband, and two treasured friends, and I am wondering when it will be my turn. The more you lose people you love from your life, the easier it will be to die. If you know of any services in Islington apart from Cruse that deal with survivor guilt (which is what I feel in abundance right now) please let me know, thank you. RIP Michael Leslie Peters. 💔😰
